Special assemblies & celebrations are organised on all special occasions & special festivals.
Deepavali Celebration
Diwali is the festival of lights and Hindus celebrate it with joy. Diwali represents the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. Diwali is a terrific festivity to be taught in a classroom, rich with legend and tradition.
Gurupoornima Celebration
The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated in our school every year. Special assemblies are dedicated to the teachers, the ‘gurus’ to mark the event replete with speeches and songs.
Speeches and shlokas are read out from the Gita and the puranas which highlight the importance of Guru in our lives. Bramhacharini Anju amma made the students aware of the fact that everyday could be Guru Purnima in their lives when they honour what life has taught them. Wisdom is there in each and every one of us, but we must throw light on our life, because when we throw light on our life, wisdom dawns.
Mathru Pithru Pooja
Every year our school organizes a formal session in the morning where the eager kids worship their parents. “They perform a puja of their mother and father and bend down to touch their feet in this public act that reaffirms our cultural heritage and makes us aware to their enduring emotional value in our lives.”
Sport’s Day
Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develop their team spirit. It helps children to develop mental and physical toughness. Sports makes their body strong and active. Children should actively participate in sports to avoid being tired and lethargic.
Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s day in INDIA is usually celebrated grandly at schools, where teachers arrange various Children’s day activities for students to make the day joyous. Our teachers prepare hand made gifts as give-away to children. The teachers perform dance and sing songs to make the day special and joyous.
Ayudh

Students participate whole heartedly in intra-class, inter-class & inter-house activities. A comprehensive program of talks, seminars & workshops on personal hygiene, family relationships etc is held round the year.
Amrita Fest
Various activities like elocution, quiz, debate, Rangoli, versification, poem recitation, singing, cooking, dance etc. are organised to tap the talents of the children during ‘Amrita fest’
Annual Sports Day
Annual Sports day is held where focus is on competitions such as track & field events & group sports activities. Interhouse & Interclass competitions are held & championship awards are given to star sports performers at every level.
In the last academic year, we held the ‘Annual day Celebration’ in the month of December where students participated actively & displayed their talents & creativity.
From felicitating achievers for their accomplishments in the last academic year to cultural events like dance & drama, the students hugged the limelight & shed their inhibitions through their performances. They overcome their stage fear & the school could instil confidence in our students.
